A Blues With The Govan Twist.
Even when presented with a blues backing, nothing can stop Guthrie doing what he does best. With alternate picked passages that just keep on giving, legato phrases that never end, and chromatic runs with an edge, this solo has everything in it.
What began as innocent YouTube videos for the JTC channel, demand grew and grew to have the official release for the Custom Solo series. Our answer? Fully transcribed and filmed solo takes from Guthrie Govan with extended backing tracks to boot, allowing you to explore your own ideas and concepts on the fretboard as well as taking the best bits from Guthrie’s live improvised takes.
Included in this release is one video performance, one backing track, and complete tab and notation.
Guthrie Govan takes down a blues backing in complete style, with a flurry of notes and impeccable timing, all are welcome to take pointers.
